Halloween 2010

After lots of lots of trick or treating practice, Kaitlyn was thrilled when Halloween actually arrived and she could trick or treat for real! We started the day off with festive cinnamon rolls for breakfast, had lunch on the go after our Trunk or Treat and then dined on Jack O' Lantern pie for supper before Kaitlyn and Grandma Jo and I headed to a local neighborhood to do some trick or treating. After an hour we stopped home, picked up Jeff and Kelsey and then headed to a Trunk or Treat at one of our favorite local churches! We were home by 7 with loads and loads of candy and finally it was time to close the book on this grand holiday for the year. . . or was it! The next day - actually Halloween - we had chili and spooky spider breadsticks for lunch and plenty of Halloween candy for dessert.
Kelsey found a new toy .. the basket of Halloween candy - or what was left after the Trunk or Treat. No trick or treaters for us ... again this year.
Spider-riffic cinnamon rolls
Jack O'lantern sloppy joe pie ... (I needed a bigger skillet)
All ready to Trick or treat!
