17 Months Old!

So hard to believe that we are creeping up on Kelsey's 1/2 birthday already. My, time is flying! Kelsey is still our little 'Giggler'. She giggles when she thinks something is silly, she giggles when she knows she's doing something naughty, she giggles when she watches her sister do something goofy - which is often, and she giggles, oh so loud, when she sees or hears a Dora episode starting! My little Dora lover can point to every character of the show when name them. She loves to run back and forth between the Diego, Alicia and Dora figures that hang on Kaitlyn's bedroom wall. And how funny it is to watch her try and see the Dora that is on the front of the pull-up she is wearing. Hilarious! We are so blessed to have such a happy girl these days ... well blessed .... also thankful for the motrin that is helping her tolerate the arrival of her final two molars and the start of her eye teeth. Kelsey has had another healthy month, praise the Lord! She just loves playing outside and hands me her shoes shortly after she wakes up and then stands at the door and begs to go out! Her favorite things to do outside are climb in and out of the wagon, climb on our playsets and slide down the slides, chase birds, and line up her toy animals on the driveway and 'feed' them. When we are indoors, Kelsey loves to play doll house, look at books - Dora books, of course, throw and chase bouncy balls all over the house, and most recently, climb onto our bed, flop down on the pillows, slide off of it on her tummy, run out of the bedroom and wave good bye and then run back and do it again. . . and that is a game Kaitlyn loves to join in on too! The girls are having more and more fun together with each passing month. Kelsey adores Kaitlyn and the reverse is also true .. most of the time. Kelsey graduated from the gastroenterologist this month (she weighed in at 23 lb 4 oz) and we are thrilled that her reflux is 'controlled'. She stills doesn't sleep the best at night and has yet to sleep through the night even once, but on most nights I don't mind our middle of the night snuggles, so I won't complain. With sore teeth, Kelsey's appetite and eating habits have suffered this month. Most days we get just one good meal into her and then just small amounts at the other two meals. Her favorites these days are ham, blueberry waffles, peaches and green beans. Loving experiencing summer with my sweet Baby Girl (and her Big Sister too!).

She adores her 'Sniffy'.
... and those ugly, ugly pacis!

Kelsey loves to 'brush' her teeth. She frequently brings me her tooth brush and the baby tooth paste so she can 'brush'.

Having fun in Big Sister's room ... sitting inside the Furry Frenzy track.
'Playing' a Dora game on the computer.
What a silly way to drink her bottle... and yes she is still getting a couple bottles a day. I know.. I know.... but she still nurses too... so whats the rush ?:/
Oh how she loves playing on our bed!

Bet you can't guess what she is watching?
Messes!

Chewing on anything and everything. She loves to chew on our plastic play food the most.
It is so funny to watch her walk backwards when she trys to 'back up' and sit down on that little ledge behind her.
Peek-a-boo!
Who needs a Smore when you can have a whole chocolate bar?!

This is so silly but when she is tired she often begs to go outside and then goes and stands at the van door and whines until you put her in her seat and turn her movie on. So hear she is watching a movie in the van in the garage. Crazy girl!
Still our little 'Climber'.
But getting more and more brave!
'Feeding her animals' birdseed and water.
Chasing a bird ...
