Yesterday was such a blessing; what a beautiful day! Lots of sun, lots of breeze but not too much of either - perfect! One of my college friends' and her family came up to visit for the day. They were in town on a mini-vacation from their home in Fowler. We had a great time with Mr. Tim and Ms. Amy and their three daughters. The girls played doll house and shoveled in the birdseed box and had lots of fun "painting" the driveway and selling "lemonade". They also had fun playing on our playsets in the backyard. After a delicious cookout for lunch, we filled the pool and turned on the sprinklers and slip n slide. More fun was had by all. Once everyone was good and soaked, we put dry clothes on and then had cupcakes and blueberry pie and the girls had fun doing some sticker pages. Shortly there after, I think all of us were ready for a nap. Our guests headed home after a wonderful visit! Thanks for coming to see us Amy and Tim! We look forward to seeing you again soon!
