Spur of the moment on Saturday, we decided to pack up the motorhome and head over to my parents to camp at their house for the night for something fun to do. I was on duty for the fire deparment all weekend so we didn't have any big plans since we needed to stay close to home. Kaitlyn wanted to ride in the motorhome with Daddy, so we put Kaitlyn's booster carseat into the front seat, buckled her up and sent them on their way. I followed behind in the car. We had a fun night of going for golf cart rides on Grandma's new golf cart, played games outside and then had a campfire and made smores. In the morning, we all piled in the motorhome and headed for brunch at our favorite restaurant. Kaitlyn was a little concerned that she was riding in a moving vehicle without a seatbelt on, as she, my mom and I rode in the back of the motorhome. K is always very careful to make sure that Jeff and I and she are all buckled up before the vehicle starts moving. Maybe she is going to be my little police officer someday. But she did enjoy the ride. We had a great time and are sure that the bathrooms at Grandma and Grandpa's "Resort" are the cleanest we'll ever use while camping!
