Our Awesome God...

... just felt the need to praise God in the midst of a few storms that we are in.

• * Praise you Lord for the handful of Doug's friends that planned a prayer service for him last night
• * Praise you Lord for the 500+ people from all over the state that showed up to pray for Doug's recovery and to praise You for your healing power last night.
• * Praise you Lord for the baby steps that Doug continues to take... and especiallly for the hand squeeze that Doug's mom is sure that she felt.
• * Praise you Lord for my Dad and his 10 brothers and sisters who have banded together despite long-time family drama to be at Doug's bedside around the clock, supporting Aunt Lori and Uncle Steve.
• * Praise you Lord that the first and only person my brother Tim has asked to be in his wedding so far is cousin Doug, and praise you that for some reason he did that last week Friday. We have heard so many times that Doug was so proud and honored to be in the wedding. We look forward to seeing him stand with Tim on that alter... we are confident Lord that you will heal him.
• * Praise you Lord for the little things like the way that Kaitlyn gave me an out of the blue hug and kiss when she woke up from her nap yesterday
• * Praise you Lord that Kaitlyn smiled as I left for the prayer service last night, without shedding a tear
• * Praise you Lord for a loving husband to support me and my family during this rough time
• * Praise you Lord for all of the people lined up to pray for Kaitlyn during her appointment tomorrow
