Ups and Downs...

First, the "downs" - ... Kaitlyn and I got stranded at the grocery store today. We loaded the trunk with groceries and I went to start the car and it wouldn't even turn over a bit. And I promise the car was off and the lights were off when I went in the store 15 minutes earlier. Lucky for us Grandma only works a short while away. K and I bought a $5 pizza from Little Ceasers and had a picnic in the parking lot while we waited to be rescued by Grandma! It certainly was an adventure.... And now the " ups"- My cousin Doug followed four commands today ... not perfectly, but all in the room new that he was trying to give a thumbs up, that he did blink his eyes and wiggle his toe and one other thing that my Dad can't remember. He still isn't out of his coma but what a miraculous "step" he took today. It gives us all hope that he will someday wake up. Bless you all for your prayers and keep them coming! We firmly believe that whenever two or more of His people pray, there our Loving God will be! Have a great weekend everyone. If we get my car fixed, we are planning a mini vacation to Chicago for a few days .... we'll see!
