Earlier this month, my friend Kelly and I took off early on a Saturday morning to do some shopping in Michigan City. That meant that Kaitlyn got to spend the whole day with Daddy... and despite the fact that it rained and poured, they had a fun day! They made cinnamon rolls for breakfast - K's favorite, took a trip to Lowe's to buy some stuff for the closet in Kaitlyn's "big girl room" and spent the majority of the rest of the day playing in sleeping bags under a fort made out of our parachute.

Kelly and I missed out on most of the rain and had a great day shopping. I even went on a whim and bought some matching summer outfits that Kailtyn and the baby could wear next summer, provided the baby was a girl. I am so happy that I don't have to return them! But most of all, I am elated that Daddy and KK hardly knew I was gone!
