We have noticed that Kaitlyn's vocabulary is expanding by leaps and bounds of late. She is really getting brave and trying to use some rather large words in her conversations with us. (She is also using lots of spanish words in her everyday conversation as well so that is quite exciting.)
Last night, after begging Kaitlyn to go outside all afternoon, I finally got her to cooperate. By this time it was getting dark so all we could really do was turn the porch light on and swing in the swing under the porch. Kaitlyn wanted me to put the swings back up on the playset so I told her we'd check the shed and see if we could find them. I opened the door to find the shed jamp-packed with stuff. I told her the shed was "completely full" and that we'd have to look in the daylight tomorrow. So she agreed and settled for the porch swing.
Jeff came out, without wearing a coat, to see what we were doing. Kaitlyn exclaimed, "Daddy, you don't have any snow clothes on. You need to go inside and get your snow hat that is "company" black." We asked her to repeat it and she said the same thing. We were trying to figure out what she meant. Then she went on to tell Jeff how we looked for the swings in the shed that was "company" full. It was then that the lightbulb went off and we knew that she was trying to say "completely". We all giggled. So cute!
