Dasher & Dancer!

Late Tuesday afternoon, Jeff, Kaitlyn and I headed to Grand Rapids to see some reindeer at a local library. Kaitlyn thought for sure that the reindeer would be brown and that they would be able to fly if she put some "magic, music crystals" on them (thanks to a Dora episode for giving her that idea!). So she was very surprised to see that they were white and unable to fly. We told her that they only fly on Christmas Eve - she was okay with that explanation. It was quite blustery so we just paid the reindeer a short visit and then went to Olive Garden for supper (my absolute favorite-est!!!!! ... YUM!) Then we went to Chuck E. Cheese to play some of K's favorite games. The place was nearly empty so we had a great time and didn't have to wait for any games or rides. Toy R Us, which is where we went next, was FAR from empty! It was a fun family night on the town!
