Simply aDORAble!

Kaitlyn is sure one lucky granddaughter! One Friday night Grandma Jo stopped over with an aDORAble new Dora sweatshirt/jacket for her. She loved it! And then, on Saturday night, after doing some Christmas shopping, my mom and dad stopped over with some Dora PJs, a Dora plate and silverwear set and a Dora lunch bag for K. (My Dad has a terrible habit of giving people gifts early because he hates to wait..... I guess its not terrible if you are the recipient!)
Thanks Grandmas and Grandpa for the aDORAble surprises!
We had a most exciting Dora adventure on Monday afternoon. Kaitlyn and I had to rescue Pooh and Tigger from crocodile lake. After using her fishing pole to do a couple rescues, she decided that she needed to put her swimsuit on to go rescue them. Sometimes she pretends so that is what I thought she meant, but she said, "No mom ... the REAL one ... with polka dots." So we went to the drawer to find it. Also in the drawer were a hat and gloves. So she put it all on and "dove" into Crocodile Lake to perform the rescue. Then she insisted that I put my suit on too - what a site that was to see me with a swimsuit top over my shirt - no, there are no pictures to share! When the rescue was complete she pretended to shiver and then wrapped up in her towel. What an aDORAble little Dora impersonator! :) Thank you Lord for my princess!
