Happy Birthday, Dad!

Continuing in the week of celebrations, we threw a birthday party for my Dad on Tuesday night; he turned 61 on Monday. It was awesome to have almost all of my family together for a party. My brother Jason and his wife and daughter (Annabelle and Elisa) are/were in town for a week visiting from New York. My sister Mindy and her family joined us as well. We built a "big kid fort" (thanks, Daysha, for the baby gates!) in our living room so that Kaitlyn could "protect" her doll house and Polly Pockets from her 9 month old very curious, crawling cousin Elisa. It worked out great! We also played quite a few rounds of Pictionary. Even Kaitlyn got up and drew a snowman - it was so cute! Grandpa let Kaitlyn help blow out the candles and open presents, so she was thrilled! Happy Birthday Dad/Grandpa! We are so blessed to have you as a loving, generous and hard-working role model!
